According to sales from the German retailer, Mindfactory, the Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti has outsold the AMD GPUs, including the AMD Radeon RX 7000 cards.
The news comes from TechEpiphany, who is a GPU tester and he has shared the sales states of the Nvidia, AMD and Intel GPUs. According to the account, the RTX 4070 Ti sales for January hit 545 units, with the RTX 3060 just below at 485 and then RX 6700 XT at 410. Unfortunately, the RX 7900 XTX had to settle for 5th place with 300 sales. Sadly, for Intel, their total units sits at just 20. You can see the overall stats below:

It’s difficult to pin-point the exact reasoning for the 4070 Ti being so high up the list however it’s important to note that the 4070 Ti costs significantly less than some of the other Nvidia cards and the 4070 Ti does offer some great mid-range performance. The RTX 4080 seems a lot lower on the list at 190 units sold, which possibly means people are not willing to increase their budget and the fact a lot of people are looking at the 4080 being a bit overpriced at the moment. For a decent enough price and good performance, it appears the 4070 Ti has won the battle for now.
We will be likely to see more of an indication on how the other cards perform going forward into 2023 with further releases as this one particular report only links to one German retailer.
