As part of the final announcement for Minecraft’s 1.20 update, it is confirmed we will see a brand new gorgeous pink biome, which will allow for beautiful decorative houses.
The new pink biome will include pink trees, which will allow for the creation of pink houses, as well as growing your own pink trees using saplings. Mojang says, “These beautiful new trees fill the horizon with a stunning shade of pink,” and said “Of course these new trees can also be broken down and crafted into a full wood-set, including the newly introduced hanging signs and cherry tree saplings to grow more of the lovely pink trees.”. In terms of mobs, you can expect to find pigs, sheep and bees.
In addition to the pink biomes, Mojang have also announced a number of various other updates coming in 2023. The update will include armor trims, which will allow you to find smithing templates and add them to your smithing table to modify your armor and make it a bit more extravagant.
The new update also includes a brand new archaeology feature. Archaeology was originally planned for update 1.17, however, was delayed but since confirmed for 1.20. Essentially, you will be able to find a new type of sand, use tools in order to find various hidden items. The items include pottery shards, tools, bones and sniffer eggs. The two new mobs included in the update will be sniffers as well as camels, and by the way, camels will also act as a mount too.
Finally, the new blocks announced are hanging signs, bamboo wood, rafts, bamboo mosaic, chiseled bookshelf, suspicious sand, new wood and a patterned pot. We are expecting this update to come in 2023, so expect an announcement from Mojang very soon.
