During your exploration in Hogwarts Legacy, it’s likely you will see these chests sat in different places and like myself at first, wonder why does it lock immediately and how to stop this?
These chests will be able to see when you approach them and will lock immediately after coming close to one. However, it’s super simple to stop this happening and open them without any issues. These chests include 500 galleons, which is the in-game currency in Hogwarts Legacy, so are a great way to get rich in the game quickly.
So, the main question, how do we open these chests? In order to open them, you will simply need to use the spell Disillusionment. This spell will make you invisible to the chest and can be unlocked via the “Secrets of the Restricted Section” quest, which is given to you by Sebastian Sallow. You can also use the invisible potions but there is no need if you have unlocked the Disillusionment spell. It is also important to make sure you are still sneaky while doing this and out of the eyes vision, as otherwise you will be spotted and the chest will be locked.
