With the game not even fully released yet, Hogwarts Legacy is on its way to becoming one of the biggest releases of all time and has broken a Twitch record due to its popularity.
On its first day released as part of the pre-orders for the deluxe edition, Hogwarts Legacy has broken a single player game record for Twitch viewers as it reached almost 1.3 million viewers. According to Streams Charts, the game hit 1,269,317 viewers, which would make it the highest among single player games.
The previous record was held by Cyberpunk, which was recorded at around 1.14 million however if compared with multiplayer games, League of Legends blows it out of the water with 3.11 million viewers. However, considering the game has not released fully and is only single player, this is a very impressive stat. The chart also shows that Hogwarts Legacy has risen to the 6th most popular game of the last 7 days, which considering it hasn’t even been available for 7 days, is incredible.
The game is due to release for all other players on February 10, however, the question is whether this figure can be beaten.
