It’s fair to say since its release, Forspoken has had mixed reviews from critics and players with Metacritic giving the game a rating of 65% and IGN giving it 6/10. Many reviewers have criticised the poor dialogue and story in the game. However, the developers are working on a much-needed patch which is due to improve performance, graphics, playability, as well as fixes to other parts of the game.
Part of the update will be fixes to “various PC hardware configurations” as some players reported issues with different hardware. We are not sure on the exact details that this patch will include, however, players are still not optimistic with one player saying, “2 weeks too late, why release when you need to do all this?”.
Hopefully the patch should resolve many of the issues that came with the launch of the game and we will see Forspoken live up to its hype prior to release.
